THE BOARDWALK
Strolling male curiosity
Herded to obsession
By titillating strutting advertisement.
Life learned forgotten
When spying
A wanton womanly form.
Ruddy-faced
Her cowering cool
Seeks refuge
Behind admirable mirrors.
Scandalously
And seductively hidden
Breasts of cinnamon
Reveal our sighs
And conceal her sincerity.
Lithely limbs of mahogany
Stokes
and shades our misogamy
Sun drawn lines
Draw our eyes
Toward her forbidden fruit
Our spirited loins
Clamber closer for hint of ecstasy.
Promises to her unborn
Protrude faithfully
When beholding the cleft
Of a jutting chin and sculpture chest.
Her perfumed and petrified flesh
Easily penetrated
By the nodding glance
Of prominent silence and mystery.
